About Liberation Therapy
As a therapist, at my core is respect, integrity, dignity and honesty. You will be met with a non-judgmental warmth in order to help you find what you’re looking for. It may be that I’m not the one to help you, and that’s okay.
Finding a therapist should be like shopping for shoes, you need to find something comfortable that’s a good fit.
I’m happy to have a telephone consultation with you, so you can ask any questions about how I work or other things that might help you know if I’m the right therapist for you.
Liberation Therapy also offers Workshops for therapists, individuals, schools and organisations both in the public and private sectors.
To find out more about me and how I work, book an appointment for counselling or enquire about my workshops, please contact me.
About Me
I am a Psychotherapist, working with an integrative model. This means that I have knowledge of different techniques to use to help you in therapy. I work with a range of problems, including anxiety, depression, trauma, bereavement, loss to mention just a few. I have experience and knowledge of Autism, and welcome clients on the Autistic Spectrum. I also have particular experience in working with adult children of narcissistic parents, and welcome those clients.
I aim to create a safe and non judgemental space where you can explore the things that are challenging you, helping you find a new perspective and self-awareness, which in turn may offer you resolution and peace.
I trained at the University of South Wales, where I graduated from the following courses:
- Post Graduate Certificate in Counselling Skills
- Post Graduate Diploma in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy
- Master of Arts in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy – Research Dissertation looking at the impact of narcissistic parenting on adult children and how to work with those clients in therapy.
